The game without a history. Okapi Aalstar led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated down low during the game scoring 52 of its points in the paint compared to Dexia Mons-Hainaut's 26. They outrebounded Dexia Mons-Hainaut 43-26 including a 35-20 advantage in defensive rebounds. 25 personal fouls committed by Dexia Mons-Hainaut helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. It was a great evening for American-Lithuanian power forward Christopher Young (206-79, college: Michigan, agency: Court Side) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 18 points and 14 rebounds (on 8-of-10 shooting from the field). American guard Stanley Burrell (190-84) helped adding 20 points and 5 assists. The best for the losing side was American forward Ahmad Nivins (206-87, college: St.Joseph's, agency: Impact Basketball) with 11 points and 5 rebounds and the other American import guard Ron Lewis (193-84, college: Ohio St.) scored 3 points, 5 rebounds and 6 assists. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games.
