The game was mostly controlled by Trapani. Ostuni managed to win third quarter 13-10. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Trapani forced 22 Ostuni turnovers and had a 24-13 advantage in offensive rebounds. 26 personal fouls committed by Ostuni helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. Worth to mention a great performance of guard Marco Evangelisti (198-84) who helped to win the game recording 26 points and 5 rebounds. The former international power forward Luca Bisconti (206-82) contributed with 15 points for the winners. Naturalized Argentinian forward Silvio Gigena (200-75) answered with 8 points and 8 rebounds and guard Claudio Tommasini (190-91) added 14 points in the effort for Ostuni. Ostuni's coach Giovanni Putignano rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help.
