The game was mostly controlled by River Andorra. Basquet Mallorca managed to win third quarter 23-17. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. The game was decided in the last minutes when River Andorra won last quarter 29-17. The best player for the winners was American guard James Holmes (188-83, college: S.Florida) who scored 27 points. His fellow American import power forward Robert Johnson (203-81, college: Oregon) chipped in 16 points and 8 rebounds. Four River Andorra players scored in double figures. At the other side the best for losing team was American forward Shaun Green (203-87, college: Utah, agency: Limelight Hoops) who recorded 22 points and 7 rebounds and point guard Joan Carles Bivia (185-85) added 10 points, 11 rebounds, 4 assists and 5 steals respectively.
