The hosts took control from the first minutes by winning the initial quarter 24-17. But Ostioneros de Guaymas won second period 26-21. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. American forward Brandon Brown (201-85, college: Cal.St.-San Bernar.) fired a double-double by scoring 29 points and 11 rebounds for the winners. His fellow American import guard Davin White (186-81, college: Cal.St. Northridge) chipped in 29 points, 5 assists and 7 steals. Brown is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top international summer league in the market. American guard Richard Roby (198-85) produced a double-double by scoring 31 points and 10 rebounds and the former international center Ramses Benitez (210-79) added 17 points and 11 rebounds respectively for lost side. Ostioneros de Guaymas' coach rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help.
