The game with biggest result difference took place in San German. Local Atleticos (15-11) lost to sixth ranked Quebradillas (14-12) 86-75. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Atleticos. The game was mostly controlled by Quebradillas. Atleticos was better in third quarter 24-11. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. The game was decided in the last minutes when Quebradillas won last quarter 25-15. Strangely Atleticos outrebounded Quebradillas 45-29 including a 20-5 advantage in offensive rebounds. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 22 assists. The winners were led by American-Australian guard CJ Bruton (188-75, college: Indian Hills CC) who scored that evening 22 points and 5 assists and the former international swingman Joel Jones (196-81, college: Sacramento St.) supported him with 15 points, 7 rebounds and 5 assists. Four Quebradillas players scored in double figures. Even a double-double of 25 points and 14 rebounds by forward Mike Harris (198-83, college: Rice) did not help to save the game for Atleticos. The former international guard Jesse Pellot-Rosa (193-84, college: VCU) added 19 points and 8 rebounds. Quebradillas maintains sixth position with 14-12 record. Atleticos at the other side dropped to the third place with 11 games lost. Quebradillas' supporters look forward to an exciting derby game next round, where their team will travel locally in Quebradillas to the arena .
