Finals Game 4: Cantu - Montepaschi 65-69

Montepaschi Siena made another step towards the title as they outscored Bennet Cantu on the road. The series return to Siena for what could be a decisive fifth game in the series. The guests took control from the first minutes by winning first half. But Bennet Cantu won third quarter 18-11. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Strangely Bennet Cantu outrebounded Montepaschi Siena 36-23 including 27 on the defensive glass. Worth to mention a great performance of American-FYR Macedonian guard Bo Lester McCalebb (183-85, college: New Orleans) who helped to win the game recording 21 points and 4 assists (on 9-of-11 shooting from the field) and Lithuanian guard Rimantas Kaukenas (193-77, college: Seton Hall) who added 18 points during the contest. Montepaschi Siena's coach Simone Pianigiani used an eleven-player rotation in such tough game. At the losing side American guard Mike Green (185-85, college: Butler) responded with a double-double by scoring 13 points and 10 rebounds and Serbian forward Marko Scekic (207-81, agency: Beo Basket) scored 16 points and 5 rebounds. Four Bennet Cantu players scored in double figures.
