Rayos de Hermosillo was tied after three quarters but could not keep up in the last quarter eventually losing the game. The game was dominated by American players. The best player for the winners was guard Davin White (186-81, college: Cal.St. Northridge) who scored 27 points. Forward Brandon Brown (201-85, college: Cal.St.-San Bernar.) chipped in 21 points and 9 rebounds. Brown is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top international summer league in the market. At the other side the best for losing team was forward Lorrenzo Wade (198-85, college: San Diego St.) who recorded 24 points and 5 assists and center Marquise Gray (206-86, college: Michigan St.) added 14 points and 8 rebounds respectively. Four Rayos de Hermosillo players scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games.
