Regular Season Round 3: MEXICO - CANADA 56-88

Canada registered second win at the U16 FIBA Americas championship in Cancun. They handed 88-56 loss to Mexico taking the second place in Group A. It means that Canada advanced to Semifinals, where they will meet USA. Mexico ended as the last ranked team in this group (0-3). Patrick Steeves came up with 16 points and 9 rebounds in victory. Kevin-Mbezela Zabo also had 16 points, while Tyrell Bellot-Green added 15 points and 8 boards. In the loosing squad, Jose Hermosillo collected 11 points and 7 rebs. Omar De Hato also scored 11 pts. Canada took control on Mexico from the very beginning. They made 12-25 record and managed to keep plus 12 until the halftime. Canada was better team in the second half as well (14-22, 15-27) winning this game with comfortable 56-88. Semifinals will be played today.
