Quarter-Finals Round 4: San German - Quebradillas 95-90
Date: July 2, 2011
The hosts trailed by 2 points at the halftime before their 57-50 charge in the second half, which allowed them to win the game. Atleticos had a 23-10 advantage in offensive rebounds. They shot the lights out from three sinking 13 long-distance shots on high 59.1 percentage. The winners were led by the former international guard Jesse Pellot-Rosa (193-84, college: VCU) who had that evening a double-double by scoring 25 points, 10 rebounds and 6 assists and Panamanian power forward Jaime Lloreda (201-80, college: LSU, agency: Paris Global Sports) supported him with 18 points and 8 rebounds. Even 22 points, 5 rebounds, 5 assists and 4 steals by guard Omar Alvarado (180-83) did not help to save the game for Quebradillas. American forward P.J. Tucker (198-85, college: Texas) added 21 points and 5 rebounds for lost side. Five Atleticos and four Quebradillas players scored in double figures. Quebradillas' coach tested ten players, but that didn't help to avoid defeat in this game.
