The game was mostly controlled by Capitanes. Mets managed to win second period 22-15. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Capitanes looked well-organized offensively handing out 25 assists. The former international center Daniel Santiago (216-76, college: N.Mexico, agency: Priority Sports) orchestrated the victory with a double-double by scoring 16 points and 10 rebounds. International guard Larry Ayuso (190-77, college: USC, agency: Global Sports Plaza) contributed with 23 points for the winners. Capitanes' coach David Rosario used an eleven-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. The former international swingman Angel Luis Figueroa (196-81, college: Dowling, agency: Paris Global Sports) answered with 22 points and 8 rebounds and the former international guard Ricardo Dalmau (188-77) added 14 points in the effort for Mets.
