CBC Championship 2011 in Nassau is over. US Virgin Islands grabbed 91-89 thriller win against Bahamas to win the Gold at this event. Both teams booked a spot for the CentroBasket 2012. US Virgin Islands had great first half ending it with 20-point lead, 53-33. However, Bahamas responded with 19-28 in Q3 and everything was open again. Kevin Sheppard stepped up for the US Virgin Islands after that to stop Bahamas and together with Cuthbert Victor and Walter Hodge helped his team to win the Gold at this event. Sheppard exploded with 28 points and 7 rebounds, while Cuthbert and Hodge had 19 and 18 points respectively. Cuthbert also pulled down 10 rebounds in this meeting.
