Yamara Amargo led the winners with 20 points. Marlen Cepeda had double-double of 18 points and 14 rebounds, while Taimy Fernadez added 15 points and 6 rebs. In defeat, Carmen Guzman shined with 39 points. Their second scorer was Anderina Paniagua with 12 points. Quarters: 17-22, 10-25, 23-16, 23-17. In Day Four, Cuba will meet Saint Vincent. Dominican Republic will play against the host Bahamas.
