Preliminary Round Day 4: CHAD - MOROCCO 57-89
Date: August 20, 2011
After initial good start in the first quarter against morocco earning a respectable score-line of 17-20, Chad faded away after ward losing the three remaining quarter by 13-20, 06-17 and 21-32 points in it second group-B game Saturday. Both sides lost their opening games with Morocco being more daring to register a win which they achieved effortlessly over the new-comer to set up a final group game against defending champion Angola on Monday while Chad will have its hands full when it confront five-time champion Senegal. Tunisia Abdelhakim Zouita led the floor with 25 points, 5 rebounds,4 assists, 2 steals and 2 block-shots. Zouita who play club competition for AS Sale basketball club contributed greatly to his side dominance over Chad he was joined on the scorer sheet Soufiane Kourodu who netted 18 points, 9 rebounds, 3 assists and one block shot and Abderrahim Najah with 15 points, 7 rebounds, 3 steals, 2 assists and one block-shot. *By Olusegun Ikuesan
