San Juan W.'s fans can finally celebrate the first win of their team after three consecutive loses. The victory is especially important as it came on the road game in , where they outplayed Aguas B.T. (0-6) 83-63 on Tuesday. The game was mostly controlled by San Juan W.. Aguas B.T. managed to win third quarter 19-13. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. They dominated on the defensive end, holding Aguas B.T. to just 6 points in second quarter. San Juan W. dominated down low during the game scoring 52 of its points in the paint compared to Aguas B.T.'s 26. San Juan W. forced 27 Aguas B.T. turnovers. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 23 assists comparing to just 9 passes made by Aguas B.T.'s players. American Tocara Ross notched a double-double by scoring 20 points and 11 rebounds to lead the effort and the other American import forward Holly Mahan (183-86, college: Towson) supported her with 17 points and 8 rebounds. Four San Juan W. players scored in double figures. Even a double-double of 16 points and 18 rebounds by Madeline Ramirez did not help to save the game for Aguas B.T.. Ileana Rodriguez added 12 points. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. San Juan W. (1-3) left bottom position moving up to sixth place, which they share with Ponce L. It was Aguas B.T.'s fourth loss in a row. They still closes the standings with six games lost. San Juan W. will meet higher ranked Juncos V. (#3) in the next round and it may be quite challenging game. Aguas B.T. will play against the league's second-placed San German (#2) and hopes to get finally their first victory.
