The game with biggest result difference took place in Sao Paulo. Local Vivo/Franca (6-2) outscored 15th ranked Sao Caetano (1-7) 100-78 on Wednesday night. The game was mostly controlled by Vivo/Franca. Sao Caetano managed to win fourth quarter 26-23. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Vivo/Franca dominated down low during the game scoring 60 of its points in the paint compared to Sao Caetano's 40 and made 22-of-25 free shots (88.0 percent) during the game. Vivo/Franca looked well-organized offensively handing out 27 assists. Worth to mention a quality performance of the former international center Babby Araujo (211-80, college: BYU) who helped to win the game recording 26 points. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Vivo/Franca moved-up to third place. Loser Sao Caetano dropped to the fourteenth position with seven games lost. They share it with XV/Cosan and America. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
