Great victory for Puerto Rico. Both teams had 4-1 record before this meeting and Puerto Rico cruised past Dominican Republic yesterday 79-62 for 5-1. They joined Argentina and Brazil on top. On the other side, Dominicans dropped to fourth place with 4-2, but they already booked a spot for the Semifinals. Alexander David Galindo came up with 16 points and 6 rebounds in victory. Jose Juan Barea had 14 points and 7 rebounds, while Renaldo Balkman helped with 9 pts and 6 rebs. In defeat, Alfred Horford collected 16 points and 9 rebounds. Jack Michael Martinez (9 rebs) and Ronald Ramon delivered 12 and 11 points respectively. Quarters: 15-16, 8-13, 19-24, 20-26. Today is the last day of the Quarterfinals Round in Mar del Plata. Puerto Rico will meet Brazil, while Dominicans will take on Argentina.
