We should not miss the game where eighth ranked Aguas B.T. (1-9) against 5th ranked Guaynabo M. (3-5) where Aguas B.T. won at home by eleven points 94-83. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Guaynabo M.. Guaynabo M. was ahead by 5 points at the halftime before a 58-42 second half run of Aguas B.T.. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 25 assists. American forward Tegsa Jones (182-89, college: Kent St.) notched a double-double by scoring 35 points (!!!) and 14 rebounds to lead the effort and the other American import guard Jasmin Young (165, college: E.Carolina) supported her with 22 points, 8 rebounds, 14 assists and 4 steals (on 6-of-7 shooting from the field). Aguas B.T.'s coach allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games. Even 19 points by American guard Chelsie Wiley (170, college: Cent.Florida) did not help to save the game for Guaynabo M.. Sonia Roman added 17 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists for lost side. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Aguas B.T. maintains eighth position with 1-9 record. Guaynabo M. at the other side dropped to the sixth place with five games lost. Aguas B.T. will have a break next round.
