Regular Season Day 2: LEBANON - SOUTH KOREA 62-80

South Korea became the leader of Group A of the FIBA Asia Championship. The team overcame Lebanon 80:62 and handed them their first loss. Both teams started strong and only 10:9 lead allowed South Korea to lead the game. They also had just 1-point advantage after the first period, 17:16. In the second quarter the things became better for South Korea that after 16-13 increased to 33:29 at the halftime. Moreover due to 20-15 in the third quarter the board showed 53:44. South Korea grabbed 66:48 after 35 minutes of the game and enjoyed the final victory by 18 points. Yang Dong-Geun top-scored for the winners with 20 points and Moon Tae-Jong nailed 18. Kim Joo-Sung collected 16 points and 10 rebounds, while Ha Seung-Jin scored 13. Rida Ghaleb delivered 20 points in defeat, whilst Akl Rodrigue added 15. Hoskin Samuel netted 12 and Bawji Bassel had 10.
