Taiwan opened the Second Round of Asian Championship with a narrow victory one ambitious Lebanon. Chen Hsin-An scored 15 points to lead the charge. Lebanon ensured the better start. They were up 11:5 midway through the opening quarter. But Taiwan erased the deficit and posted a 16:13 lead ten minutes into the encounter. The lead changed hands for numerous times throughout close second term before Chia-Hung Chien made it 30:30 at the interval. The teams stayed neck and neck in the third quarter as well. Jean Abed El Nour capped the term with a three-pointer and drew thing level at 50. Taiwan finally cleared off to a 60:55 distance however Akl and Samuel Hoskin dragged Lebanon within two points 58:60 with just over a minute to go. The teams went scoreless in the reminder of the battle as Taiwan ran away with a narrow win at the end. Wu Tai-Hao produced 12 points and 9 rebounds for Taiwan. Lu Cheng-Ju netted 10 points in the loss. Samuel Hoskin responded with 19 points and 11 rebounds for Lebanon. Jean Abed El Nour posted 12 points and 9 rebounds in the loss.
