South Korea registered the fifth straight win in Wuhan. Cho Sung-Min posted 19 points to lead South Korea past Taiwan. The winners improved at 4-0 record, while Taiwan fell at 2-2 in Group E. The teams stayed close throughout the opening frame. Taiwan eked out a 20:18 lead after ten minutes of action. But South Korea opened the second term on a 15:2 run to surge ahead. They fired 25 points in the period to ensure a 43:32 halftime lead. The margin grew at 19-point mark midway through the third term. South Korea soon boosted to 20+ points and established a 64:40 buffer heading into the fourth period. Taiwan failed to recovered in the reminder of the contest and had to surrender at the end. Moon Tae-Jong posted 15 points, while Oh Sek-Eun contributed 14 points for the winners. Wu Tai-Hao responded with 15 points for Taiwan. Wen-Ting Tseng chipped in 13 points in the losing effort.
