Very important is a road loss of second ranked Hoganas (1-1) against ninth ranked Helsingborg (1-1) on Sunday night. Visiting Hoganas were defeated by Helsingborg in a tough game in Helsingborg 66-73. Hoganas were ahead by 2 points after three quarters before a 21-12 charge of Helsingborg, which allowed them to win the game. They outrebounded Hoganas 47-26 including a 32-14 advantage in defensive rebounds. Naturalized Bosnian forward Srdjan Vukovic (197-86) notched a double-double by scoring 25 points and 14 rebounds to lead the effort and supported him with 16 points and 12 rebounds. Even 18 points and 5 steals by guard Dwight Bankhead Bankhead (181-83) did not help to save the game for Hoganas. Lithuanian power forward Linas Savickas (197-79) added 14 points and 6 rebounds for the guests. Both coaches used bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Helsingborg left bottom position moving up to sixth place in South, which they share with defeated Hoganas. Helsingborg's next round opponent will be higher ranked Srbija (#5) in Malmo and it may be quite challenging game.
