Qualifying Round Round 2: Azovmash - Ventspils 79-65

Azovmash heads to EuroCup Regular Season beating BK Ventspils at home. The Ukrainian team needed 89:65 victory to win by total of 13 points after two games. Ventspils won the first game at home by one point and started better. Strelnieks nailed three at the end of the first period for 16:14. Moreover Jahmar Young gave his side 19:14 early in the second and Bojan Bakic scored for 24:20. Ricky Minard managed to tie the game at 30:30, while he also gave his side 37:32 at the halftime. Hasan Rizvic brought 44:39 and Daniel Ewing scored for 49:41 midway through the third period. Azovmash had 14-point advantage in the period, but could keep only 62:56 after thirty minutes. Moreover Strelnieks tied the game at 62:62 and only 7-0 run allowed the Ukrainian team to stay closer to EuroCup. Hasan Rizvic and Ricky Minard ensured the last points for the winners and will play in the Regular Season. Ricky Minard paced all the winners with 24 points and Daniel Ewing added 18. Radoslav Rancik posted 13, while Hasan Rizvic delivered 9. Bojan Bakic ended up with 18 points for the Baltic side and Jahmar Young posted 14.
