Regular Season Round 3: Levice - USK Praha 74-80

The game between closely ranked teams ended with ninth ranked USK Praha's (2-1) road victory over 10th ranked Levice (1-3) 80-74 on Wednesday. Levice was trailing by 4 points at halftime but managed to get 4-point lead after three quarters before a 28-18 charge of USK Praha, which allowed them to win the game. It was an exceptional evening for Slovakian center Peter Sedmak (207-85) who led the winners and scored 22 points. The former international center Stanislav Votroubek (212-81) accounted for 12 points and 10 rebounds for the winning side. Four USK Praha players scored in double figures. American guard Keaton Grant (193-86, college: Purdue) came up with a double-double by scoring 18 points, 11 rebounds and 5 assists and the other American import forward Esian Henderson (203-86, college: Cent.Missouri) added 24 points and 8 rebounds respectively for Levice in the defeat. USK Praha moved-up to fourth place, which they share with BK Pardubice and NH Ostrava. Levice at the other side dropped to the twelfth position with three games lost. USK Praha will meet at home BK Loko Plzen (#10) in the next round which should be theoretically an easy game. Levice will play against NH Ostrava.
