An interesting game was also a 41-point tough home defeat of 8th ranked BK Loko Plzen in a game versus BK Pardubice (#5) 95-54. The game without a history. BK Pardubice led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated on the defensive end, holding BK Loko Plzen to just 6 points in first quarter. BK Pardubice dominated down low during the game scoring 58 of its points in the paint compared to BK Loko Plzen's 34. It was an exceptional evening for American power forward Marcus Arnold (207-84, college: Illinois, agency: Stanley International) who led the winners with a double-double by scoring 18 points and 11 rebounds. International forward Petr Bohacik (202-85) accounted for 13 points and 8 rebounds for the winning side. Arnold is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top international summer league in the market. Five BK Pardubice players scored in double figures. The former international guard Stepan Vrubl (186-76) came up with 14 points and 4 assists and forward Ladislav Pecka (197-91) added 10 points respectively for BK Loko Plzen in the defeat. Since the result was very predictable, it gave the chance for the coaches to test many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. BK Pardubice (2-1) moved-up to fourth place, which they share with USK Praha and NH Ostrava. BK Loko Plzen at the other side dropped to the tenth position with two games lost. They share it with Usti n/Labem. BK Pardubice will meet league's second-placed BC Kolin on the road in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. BK Loko Plzen will play against USK Praha (#6).
