Bottom-ranked B&W Opava is still unable to win any game. This time they could not use their home court advantage losing their fifth consecutive match to eighth ranked Levharti Chomutov (2-2) 84-77 on Wednesday evening. The guests took control from the first minutes by winning first half. But B&W Opava won third quarter 28-19. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. The game was decided in the last minutes when Levharti Chomutov won last quarter 20-14. American guard Derek Wright (175-86, college: Austin Peay St.) orchestrated the victory by scoring 22 points, 7 rebounds, 8 assists and 4 steals. His fellow American import guard Rob Lowery (188-87, college: Dayton) contributed with 18 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists for the winners. Five Levharti Chomutov players scored in double figures. Forward Jakub Blazek (203-80) answered with a double-double by scoring 28 points and 11 rebounds and guard Petr Dokoupil (191-88) added 12 points and 5 assists in the effort for B&W Opava. B&W Opava's coach David Klapetek rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Newly promoted Levharti Chomutov maintains eighth place with 2-2 record. B&W Opava at the other side still closes the standings with five games lost. Levharti Chomutov are looking forward to face Levice (#12) at home in the next round. B&W Opava will play against the league's leader BK Decin and will have a slim chance for a victory.
