Regular Season Round 6: Levice - Chomutov 91-84

There was a minor upset when 8th ranked Levharti Chomutov (2-3) was defeated on the road by tenth ranked Levice (2-4) 91-84. The hosts were already 11 points ahead after 3 quarters before a 30-26 Levharti Chomutov's run in the last quarter cut the lead to 91-84 at the end of the game. Levice made 19-of-22 charity shots (86.4 percent) during the game. Levice outrebounded Levharti Chomutov 41-29 including a 25-14 advantage in offensive rebounds. It was a good game for American forward Esian Henderson (203-86, college: Cent.Missouri) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 20 points and 11 rebounds. The other American import guard Keaton Grant (193-86, college: Purdue) contributed with 16 points and 7 rebounds for the winners. Five Levice players scored in double figures. Levharti Chomutov's coach rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Levice maintains tenth position with 2-4 record. Newly promoted Levharti Chomutov keeps the eighth place with three games lost. Levice's next round opponent will be league's second-placed BK Decin at home and they do not belong to the favorites in that game.
