Regular Season Round 4: Sanda - Srbija 60-79

Date: October 15, 2011
There was no surprise when bottom-ranked Sanda Basket (0-3) was outleveled by top-ranked Srbija (4-0) in Huskvarna 79-60 on Saturday. The game was mostly controlled by Srbija. Sanda Basket was better in second period 15-12. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Srbija forced 19 Sanda Basket turnovers and outrebounded them 37-25 including 23 on the defensive glass. Sanda Basket was plagued by 25 personal fouls down the stretch. Quite impressive performance for FYR Macedonian forward Todorce Petkovski (200-80) who helped to win the game recording 24 points and 8 rebounds (on 8-of-10 shooting from the field). Finnish guard Rasmus Roslund (192-88) contributed with a double-double by scoring 19 points and 10 rebounds for the winners. Forward Johan Ganstrand (192-93) replied with 13 points and guard Adrian Thorangen (195-93) added 15 points in the effort for Sanda Basket. Sanda Basket's coach rotated ten players seeing no chance for a win. Srbija have a solid four-game winning streak. They keep a position of South leader, which they share with Nassjo. Loser Sanda Basket still closes the standings with three games lost. Srbija will face Fryshuset (#10) in Stockholm in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Sanda Basket will play on the road against Hoganas and looks forward to get finally their first victory.
