There was no surprise when 19th ranked Firenze (1-4) lost on the road to fourth ranked Casalpusterlengo (4-1) 98-89 on Sunday. The hosts trailed by 2 points after first quarter, but they rallied back to get the 4-point lead at the halftime and eventually won the game 98-89. Casalpusterlengo made 22-of-27 free shots (81.5 percent) during the game. Casalpusterlengo outrebounded Firenze 35-23 including a 27-15 advantage in defensive rebounds. Forward Riccardo Castelli (200-88) orchestrated the victory by scoring 17 points and 9 rebounds. Forward Giampaolo Ricci (200-91) contributed with 14 points and 9 rebounds for the winners.
