Regular Season Round 4: Talje - Uppsala KFUM 91-62

Talje Knights' fans can celebrate the first win of their team after three consecutive loses. They used home court advantage to defeat KFUM Uppsala (0-3) 91-62 on Sunday. The hosts trailed by 1 point after first quarter, but they stormed back to get the 11-point lead at the halftime and eventually won the game 91-62. Talje Knights looked well-organized offensively handing out 29 assists comparing to just 13 passes made by KFUM Uppsala's players. It was a very good performance for Gustav Sundstrom who helped to win the game recording 33 points (!!!), 8 rebounds and 4 assists (made all of his seven free throws). Forward Erik Johansson (194-96) contributed with 15 points and 4 assists for the winners. Norwegian guard Joakim Hellerstrom (190-87) replied with 18 points and 4 steals and guard Oscar Uusitalo (180-89) added 8 points and 11 rebounds in the effort for KFUM Uppsala. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Talje Knights (1-3) left bottom position moving up to seventh place in North, which they share with 3 other teams. It was KFUM Uppsala's third loss in a row. They still closes the standings with three games lost. Talje Knights will face Eskilstuna (#8) in the next round. KFUM Uppsala will play against Akropol in Spanga and hopes to get finally their first victory.
