Another exciting game was between fifth ranked CEZ Nymburk and 3rd placed BC Kolin where CEZ Nymburk (5-1) crushed BC Kolin (4-2) on the road with 28-point difference 100-72. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of BC Kolin. It was a key game for the top position in the league. The game without a history. CEZ Nymburk led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. CEZ Nymburk forced 21 BC Kolin turnovers. It was a great shooting night for CEZ Nymburk especially from behind the arc, where they had solid 58.8 percentage. Worth to mention a great performance of American guard Chester Simmons (198-82, college: Washington, agency: Z.A.G. - Law Offices) who helped to win the game recording 17 points. International guard Pavel Pumprla (196-86) contributed with 14 points for the winners. Four CEZ Nymburk players scored in double figures. Forward Jiri Jelinek (203-87) answered with 24 points and 7 rebounds and American guard Chadwick-Farrell Barnes (190-83, college: New Orleans) added 11 points, 5 rebounds and 9 assists in the effort for BC Kolin. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. CEZ Nymburk have a solid series of four victories in a row. Defending champion keeps a position of league leader, which they share with BK Decin and BK Prostejov. BC Kolin at the other side dropped to the sixth place with two games lost. CEZ Nymburk will play against BK Usti nad Labem (#12) at home in the next round which should be another easy win for them. BC Kolin will play against Levharti Chomutov (#10) and hopes to get back on the winning track.
