There was a minor upset when 6th ranked Jarva Devils (1-3) were smashed on the road by ninth ranked Haga Haninge (2-3) 89-68 on Saturday. The hosts trailed by 7 points after first quarter, but they stormed back to get the 4-point lead at the halftime and eventually won the game 89-68. Guard Bjorn Johansson (190-83) orchestrated the victory by scoring 27 points. Guard David Czernik (181-80) contributed with 21 points and 5 rebounds for the winners. Four Haga Haninge players scored in double figures. Guard Binyam Feghadu (195-89) answered with 23 points and 5 rebounds and guard Romiel Araya (180-91) added 8 points in the effort for Jarva Devils. Haga Haninge moved-up to sixth place in North, which they share with Talje. Newly promoted Jarva Devils dropped to the eighth position with three games lost. Haga Haninge will face Talje Knights (#7) at home in the next round. Jarva Devils will play against Eskilstuna and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
