Regular Season Round 3: Feni Indistrija - Vardar 79-71

The most crucial game of the last round was the first loss of undefeated Vardar (1-1) in Kavadarci on Saturday night. Visitors were defeated by Feni Indistrija (3-0) 79-71. The hosts trailed by 4 points at the halftime before their 49-37 charge in the second half, which allowed them to win the game. 24 personal fouls committed by Vardar helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. It was a good game for international power forward Kiril Nikolovski (210-88) who led his team to a victory with 19 points and 5 rebounds. Serbian center Dusan Knezevic (207-80, agency: BeoExcell) contributed with 7 points and 10 rebounds for the winners. Feni Indistrija is looking forward to face league's second-placed MZT Skopje at home in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Vardar's supporters also look forward to an exciting derby game next round, where their team will face at home their local rival from Skopje Torus Skopje.
