NBL top team - BK Decin (6-1) had no problems winning another game. This time they crushed eleventh ranked BK Loko Plzen (2-6) 79-49. The game without a history. BK Decin led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. BK Decin outrebounded BK Loko Plzen 48-25 including a 16-3 advantage in defensive rebounds. BK Loko Plzen was plagued by 29 personal fouls down the stretch. Worth to mention a quality performance of international forward Pavel Houska (201-84) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 13 points and 11 rebounds and American guard John Boyer (185-88, college: Buffalo) who added 7 points, 7 rebounds and 8 assists during the contest. Boyer is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top international summer league in the market. Slovakian forward Marek Kozlik (187-86) responded with 9 points and 4 assists and forward Ladislav Pecka (197-91) scored 8 points and 5 rebounds. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. BK Decin maintains first position with 6-1 record, which they share with BK Prostejov. BK Loko Plzen at the other side dropped to the twelfth place with six games lost. BK Decin will play against BC Kolin (#5) on the road in the next round. BK Loko Plzen will play against B&W Opava (#14) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
