The game in Komarno was also quite interesting. 6th ranked Levice (3-4) played at the court of seventh ranked Komarno (3-3). Komarno defeated Levice 90-75 on Saturday. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Levice. The game was mostly controlled by Komarno. Levice managed to win fourth quarter 20-18. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. American players dominated the game. It was an exceptional evening for guard Johnathon Jones (183-88, college: Oakland) who led the winners with a double-double by scoring 12 points, 10 assists and 4 steals. Forward J.C. Mathis (204-82, college: Michigan) accounted for 14 points and 8 rebounds for the winning side. Five Komarno players scored in double figures. Forward Esian Henderson (203-86, college: Cent.Missouri) came up with 14 points and 7 rebounds and guard Keaton Grant (193-86, college: Purdue) added 8 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists respectively for Levice in the defeat. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Komarno moved-up to third place, which they share with 3 other teams. Newly promoted Levice dropped to the seventh position with four games lost. Komarno will meet league's second-placed Nova Ves on the road in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Levice will have a break next round.
