Very important is a road loss of third ranked Istanbul B.B. (2-1) against thirteenth ranked Selcuk Universitesi (2-1) on Saturday night. Visiting Istanbul B.B. was defeated by Selcuk Universitesi in Konya 85-72. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Istanbul B.B.. The game was mostly controlled by Selcuk Universitesi. Istanbul B.B. was better in third quarter 21-19. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Selcuk Universitesi players were unselfish on offense dishing 21 assists. It was a great evening for the former international forward Onur Aydin (203-79, agency: 1x1 Sports) who led his team to a victory scoring 12 points, 9 rebounds and 5 assists. Forward Omer Unver (204-81) helped adding 12 points and 7 rebounds. Selcuk Universitesi's coach allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Selcuk Universitesi moved-up to fourth place, which they share with 6 other teams including defeated Istanbul B.B. Selcuk Universitesi will play against higher ranked Vestel (#3) in Manisa in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory.
