Second straight win for Brazil at the Panamerican games in Guadalajara. Brazil jumped to 2-0 in Group B and secured a spot for the Semifinals. On the other side, Jamaica closes the standings with 0-2. Erika De Souza shined in Brazil collecting 22 points and 15 rebounds. Gilmara Justino had 19 points and 6 rebs, while Iziane Castro Marques helped with 12 pts. In Jamaica, Simone Jackson netted 13 pts. Their second scorers were Shereel Brown (7 rebs) and Zandria Dell with 7 pts each. Quarters: 25-2, 27-9, 30-11, 34-12. In the last game of the Preliminary Round, Brazil will meet Colombia. Jamaica will play against Canada.
