Not a big story in a game when bottom-ranked Alcamo (0-2) was edged at home by top-ranked CA Faenza (2-0) 54-52 on Sunday. The guests trailed by 1 point at the halftime before their 27-24 charge in the second half, which allowed them to win the game. Serbian guard Marija Eric (164-83) orchestrated the victory by scoring 21 points and 6 rebounds. American forward Demauria Liles (185-88, college: Maryland) contributed with 9 points and 8 rebounds for the winners.
