Jazmine Sepulveda was a key player in this victory with 22 points. Carla Escalera had 17 points and Carla Cortijo added 12 pts, plus 6 rebounds. In the loosing squad, Silvia Gustavo top-scored with 16 points. Damiris Dantas had 15 points and 7 rebs, while Iziane Castro Marques had 14 pts and also 7 boards. Erika De Souza stopped on just two points in this crucial meeting. Quarters: 17-13, 23-22, 12-21, 16-13. Puerto Rico will meet Mexico in the Gold medal game. Brazil will play against Colombia for the Bronze.
