PLK top team - PGE Turow (5-0) managed to deliver another win. This time they beat sixth ranked AZS Koszalin (3-3) in Zgorzelec 76-61. PGE Turow made 20-of-25 charity shots (80.0 percent) during the game. American guard David Jackson (193-86, college: W.Illinois) scored 17 points to lead the charge for the winners and Australian-Dutch center Daniel Kickert (208-83, college: St.Mary's, CA) chipped in 18 points during the contest. PGE Turow's coach Jacek Winnicki used entire bench and allowed the starting five to rest. The best for the losing side was American forward George Reese (201-77, college: Ohio St., agency: Alti Sport) with 17 points and 5 rebounds and his fellow American import guard J.J. Montgomery (196-82, college: Arkansas St.) scored 16 points. PGE Turow have an impressive five-game winning streak. They maintain first position with 5-0 record. AZS Koszalin at the other side keeps the sixth place with three games lost. They share the position with PBG Basket and Kotwica. PGE Turow will play against Siarka Jezioro (#9) in Tarnobrzeg in the next round and are hoping to win another game. AZS Koszalin will have a break next round.
