Regular Season Round 9: Levice - Svitavy 86-72

Everything could happen at the game between two tied teams. Both eighth ranked Levice and 9th ranked Basketbal Svitavy had identical 3-4 record. This time Levice used a home court advantage and defeated the opponent from Svitavy 86-72. Levice made 17-of-22 charity shots (77.3 percent) during the game. It was a good game for American guard Keaton Grant (193-86, college: Purdue) who led his team to a victory with 20 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists. British center Michael Bernard (205-78, college: S.Florida) contributed with 15 points and 7 rebounds for the winners. American guard Ravone George (193-83, college: Alabama) answered with 16 points, 9 rebounds and 6 assists and Congolese-French forward Boris Meno (203-83, college: Davidson) added 11 points in the effort for Basketbal Svitavy. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Both coaches tested many bench players and allowed the starting five to get some rest. The victory was the third consecutive win for Levice. They maintain eighth place with 4-4 record. Basketbal Svitavy at the other side keeps the ninth position with five games lost. Levice's next round opponent will be BK Loko Plzen (#11) at home. Basketbal Svitavy will play against USK Praha and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
