Canada and Argentina played a very exciting game in Day One of the Panamerican Games 2011 in Guadalajara. Canada celebrated 83-79 victory and they needed an overtime to do it. Both teams are placed to Preliminary Group A together with Argentina and host Mexico. Philip Scrubb was a key player in victory with 35 points. He scored 8 triples in this meeting. Tyson Hinz had 13 points and 5 rebs, while Owen Klassen helped his country with 7 points and 7 rebs. Nicolas Laprovittola responded with 16 points in defeat.
