The game was mostly controlled by Townsville Fire. Logan Thunder was better in second period 23-21. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. The game was decided in the last minutes when Townsville Fire won last quarter 24-14. It was a very good performance for American forward Shanavia Dowdell (188-87, college: Louisiana Tech, agency: LBM Management) who helped to win the game recording 20 points and 8 rebounds. The former international guard Jessica Foley (182-83, college: Duke) contributed with 12 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists for the winners.
