Kumanovo 2009 (#4) was upset in Gergelija by eighth ranked Kozuv 95-84. The game was mostly controlled by Kozuv. Kumanovo 2009 managed to win second period 19-16. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. They outrebounded Kumanovo 2009 33-20 including 19 on the defensive glass. Serbian guard Bojan Tomasevic (186-84) fired 24 points and 6 rebounds for the winners. Serbian power forward Milos Petkovic (201-91) chipped in 21 points (on 8-of-9 shooting from the field). Four Kozuv players scored in double figures. Kozuv's coach used a ten-player rotation and allowed the starting five to rest. Serbian forward Milan Janjusevic (196-83) produced 26 points (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field) and Serbian power forward Nemanja Jelesijevic (209-79, agency: World Sport Agency) added 19 points and 5 rebounds respectively for lost side. Kozuv (1-3) left bottom position moving up to seventh place, which they share with Rabotnicki and ABA Strumica. Loser Kumanovo 2009 keeps the fourth position with two games lost. They share it with Vardar and Lirija. Kozuv will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. Kumanovo 2009 will play against Fersped-Rabotnicki (#9) in Skopje.
