The game in Svit supposed to be also worth to mention about. 5th ranked Handlova (4-4) played at the court of sixth ranked Svit (4-4). Svit smashed Handlova 100-72. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Handlova. The game was mostly controlled by Svit. Handlova was better in fourth quarter 20-19. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. They shot 64.9 percent from the field. Svit players were unselfish on offense dishing 27 assists comparing to just 13 passes made by Handlova's players. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Svit moved-up to fifth place, which they share with Handlova and Levice. Svit will play against Levice (#7) at home in the next round. Handlova will play against the league's leader Prievidza and hopes to get back on the winning track.
