No shocking result in a game when seventh ranked Levice (4-4) defeated on the road bottom-ranked SKP Banska Bystrica (1-7) 85-81. The game without a history. Levice led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. SKP Banska Bystrica was plagued by 25 personal fouls down the stretch. It was a good game for American forward Dominique Keller (203-88, college: Illinois) who led his team to a victory with 29 points. The former international swingman Andrej Cervenka (197-84) contributed with 16 points for the winners. Keller is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top international summer league in the market. Levice's coach Frantisek Ron allowed to play the deep bench players in such tough game. International power forward Peter Dorazil (199-89) answered with a double-double by scoring 23 points and 11 rebounds and American forward Marcus Kitts (205-89, college: William & Mary) added 19 points and 11 rebounds in the effort for SKP Banska Bystrica. Levice moved-up to fifth place, which they share with Handlova and Svit. SKP Banska Bystrica at the other side stay at the bottom position with seven games lost. Levice will play against Svit (#5) on the road in the next round. SKP Banska Bystrica will play against Nova Ves (#4) to get more than just one victory in their record.
