Semi-Finals Game 4: Limeira - Pinheiros/Sky 75-83

Pinheiros/Sky advanced to the Final with a road win over Winner/Limeira in Game 4. The guests were already 17 points ahead at halftime and as many as 18 after three quarters before a 27-17 last quarter charge of Winner/Limeira cut the lead to 83-75 at the end of the game. Pinheiros/Sky dominated down low during the game scoring 52 of its points in the paint compared to Winner/Limeira's 26 and made 25-of-29 charity shots (86.2 percent) during the game. Winner/Limeira was plagued by 24 personal fouls down the stretch. The winners were led by the former international forward Marquinhos Vieira (207-84) who scored that evening 19 points and 4 assists (made all of his seven free throws) and naturalized American forward Shamell Stallworth (196-80, college: USF, agency: Interperformances) supported him with 17 points and 4 assists (made all of his ten free throws !!!). Four Pinheiros/Sky players scored in double figures. Even 16 points and 5 rebounds by forward Biro Alves (200-87) did not help to save the game for Winner/Limeira. Benite added 14 points, 5 assists and 5 steals for lost side. Winner/Limeira's coach rotated eleven players in this game, but that didn't help.
