Regular Season Round 9: Svendborg - Naestved 70-61

An interesting game for Svendborg (9-0) which hosted in Svendborg 3rd placed Naestved (5-4). Leader Svendborg managed to get a 9-point victory 70-61. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Naestved. The hosts took control from the first minutes by winning first half. But Naestved won third quarter 21-13. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Svendborg forced 19 Naestved turnovers. It was a great shooting night for Svendborg especially from behind the arc, where they had solid 53.3 percentage. American forward Matthew Kingsley (206-86, college: Stephen F. The best for the losing side was guard Nicolas Christensen (190-90) with 13 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists and American forward Jordan Glynn (200-89, college: Stephen F. Austin, agency: I.D.S. Law) produced a double-double by scoring 10 points and 10 rebounds. Four Naestved players scored in double figures. Naestved's coach Geoff Kotila rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Svendborg have an impressive series of nine victories in a row. They maintain first place with 9-0 record. Naestved at the other side keeps the third position with four games lost. They share it with Horsholm. Svendborg will play against Horsens IC (#8) in Horsens in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Naestved will play at home against Falcon (#9) and hopes to get back on the winning track.
