Both teams had 0-2 record before this meeting. Union Olimpija managed to beat Polish champion 70-62 for the first Euroleague win this season. At the same time, Asseco Prokom dropped to 0-3 in Group D. Danny Green was a key player for the hosts with 23 points. He made 5 of 7 attempts from behind the arc. Robert Rothbart had 9 points and 8 rebounds, while Dino Murtic helped his team with 8 points and 6 rebs. In Prokom, Alonzo Gee was better than the others with 13 points and 7 rebs. Oliver Lafayette scored 12 and Lukasz Seweryn stopped to 9 pts. Union Olimpija had wonderful beginning and later managed to keep its lead until the end. Quarters: 25-16, 15-17, 18-14, 12-15. Union Olimpija will host Galatasaray next week. Asseco Prokom will meet Uncis in Gdynia.
