The game in Praha supposed to be also quite interesting. 7th ranked NH Ostrava (5-6) played at the court of eighth ranked USK Praha (6-5). USK Praha smashed NH Ostrava 92-69 on Wednesday. The game was mostly controlled by USK Praha. NH Ostrava managed to win second period 21-19. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. It was a great shooting night for USK Praha especially from behind the arc, where they had solid 53.3 percentage. It was an exceptional evening for Slovakian center Peter Sedmak (207-85) who led the winners and scored 28 points and 7 rebounds. International forward Vojtech Hruban (202-89) accounted for 21 points and 4 assists for the winning side. Four USK Praha players scored in double figures. Since the result was very predictable, it gave the chance for the coaches to test many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. USK Praha moved-up to sixth place. NH Ostrava lost their third game in a row. They dropped to the eighth position with six games lost. USK Praha will meet league's leader CEZ Nymburk on the road in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. NH Ostrava will play against Basketbal Svitavy (#10) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
