Regular Season Round 9: Slovanka MB - DSK Karlin 112-69

Bottom-ranked DSK Karlin (0-10) tried to put together a comeback for its first victory of the season, but they fell short in the 112-69 loss to sixth ranked Basket Slovanka MB (5-3) in Vodochody. The game without a history. Basket Slovanka MB led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated down low during the game scoring 72 of its points in the paint compared to DSK Karlin's 36. Basket Slovanka MB forced 24 DSK Karlin turnovers and outrebounded them 50-25 including a 37-17 advantage in offensive rebounds. Basket Slovanka MB players were unselfish on offense dishing 27 assists comparing to just 12 passes made by DSK Karlin's players. 28 personal fouls committed by DSK Karlin helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. Center Eva Dujsikova (188-86) nailed 22 points and 9 rebounds for the winning side and point guard Hana Nezdarilova (170-84) accounted for 19 points, 11 assists and 5 steals. Center Irena Spirkova (191-82) came up with 16 points and 4 steals and forward Katerina Ciperova (180-83) added 11 points and 4 assists respectively for DSK Karlin in the defeat. Since the result was very predictable, it gave the chance for the coaches to test many bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games.
